Midtown Business Network (“MBN”) was founded in 1985 and originally formed as a nonprofit corporation to act as a business league, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, to enhance the common business interests and improve the business conditions of the members by the exchange of business information and skills through regular luncheon meetings, social gatherings, and educational programs.
Though the years, MBN has grown into one of the most dynamic and effective business networking groups in Houston. As a category exclusive group with membership extended on an individual basis, our members know that there will not be anyone else in the group offering the same products or services. This policy helps each of our members feel more comfortable knowing that they will not be competing with any other member and they will receive all the leads for their business category.
In addition to growing our members’ businesses, MBN has provided an opportunity for our members to establish long term and close friendships with one another. Learning together, having fun together, and making friends is how you build relationships and grow your business. At MBN, we have it all; fun, friendship, education and business building.
